Plans are already under way for the 18th edition of the biggest gospel music concert in Lagos – The Experience. The programme is organised by the Lead Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin. This year’s edition will be held on December 8 at Tafawa Balewa Square.
Some of the artistes billed to perform at the event are Sinach, Travis Greene, Nathaniel Bassey, Onos Ariyo, Dunsin Oyekan, Moses Bliss, Donnie McClurkin, among others.
Speaking on the upcoming event, Adefarasin wrote on Instagram during the week, “The Experience is back! Brace yourself. December 8, 2023. Share with friends and make plans to be there. Don’t just meet me there, beat me there. The theme this year is: Jesus our Way Maker.”
For days, organisers of the concert have shared bits from previous events on its social media platforms. In a series of posts today, the oganisers affirmed that there are many reasons to be part of the exhilarating non-stop worship and praise experience.
They added, “True worship unlocks mysteries of God. It is the atmosphere of heaven and it is from a place of knowing that, no matter what you face, Jesus our way maker is all that matters.
“This is evident at every edition of ‘The Experience’ and will be even more intense this year. As ‘The Experience 18’ draws close, be ready to release an unhindered flow of true worship to our God and king. Be there and be expectant.”
They also shared some experiences from previous participants. @theguru_ wrote, “I will never forget this ministration. People were leaving but I told my friends Alex and Ken that we were not leaving until Mr M & Revelation ministered. Omo! People ran back and we danced till past 7am.”
