In a momentous announcement made during the Sunday service on September 17, 2023, The Fountain of Life Church introduced its new senior pastor, Jimmy Odukoya, the son of the late Taiwo Odukoya. This appointment comes as the ministry grapples with the loss of its immediate past senior pastor, Taiwo Odukoya, who passed away on August 17, 2023, at the age of 67 in the United States.
The late Taiwo Odukoya, a respected preacher and spiritual leader, was laid to rest at a private ceremony attended by close family members and associates last weekend. However, prior to his passing, he had shared a succession plan for the church with the Board of Trustees (BoT).
Addressing the congregation, Rotimi Okpaise, a pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, revealed that Jimmy Odukoya had been unanimously chosen as the new senior pastor and chairperson of the board. The installation of Jimmy as the senior pastor is scheduled for September 30, 2023.

Pastor J, as he is fondly called, is the first son of late Pastor Taiwo and late Bimbo Odukoya. He was born He got his first degree and Masters degree from Oral Roberts University in USA. He moved back to Nigeria in 2010 and was in the same year, made an Assistant Pastor of Church 3:16, the Youth Ministry of The Fountain of Life Church.
In 2012, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya took over the leadership of the church and he is assisted by his wife Pastor Kemi Odukoya who he married in 2013.
