Dunsin Oyekan praises God after surviving accident

Dunsin Oyekan

Gospel singer, Dunsin Oyekan, has praised God after surviving a road accident on his way from Lagos to a ministration in Ibadan, Oyo State on September 3, 2022.

The accident reportedly happened at Lagos-Ibadan expressway involving a Toyota Prado Jeep which the singer and some of his crew members were in, and a trailer truck.

The Jeep was totally damaged which caused one of its occupants to sustain injuries. However, Oyekan said he was unhurt.

The Eagle, as he is fondly called, went about with his duty for that day - to minister at The Sword of the Spirit Ministries, founded by Bishop Wale Oke.

During his ministration, Oyekan said to the congregation, “Most of you don’t know why I am excited. Let me first appreciate Daddy and Mummy. I made up my mind that I was going to be here by force. The devil tried everything not to make me come here today.

“If you saw the accident scene that I came out from, you can never believe that I walked out alive. We were coming here and I said that I should sleep a bit so that I can be refreshed for the meeting.

“The next thing is that I knew we were somewhere but I did not know that our Jeep has gone under the trailer. Even though I walk though the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil. If you are looking for a miracle, this is a miracle standing here."

The singer further praised God for sparing his life. He also took to his Instagram page to share his testimony.

He wrote, “Indeed God is Sweet to Worship (OLUWADUNSIN). God is my glory, the lifter up of my head.

“The keeper of Isreal neither sleeps nor slumber, he watches over his word to perform it.

“Glory to God now and forever more. I remain in awe of God!!! I’m perfectly ok. Body, Soul and Mind.”
