The President of Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, is marking his 55th year in ministry.
The church took to its X page to celebrate its leader. They also noted that the popular preacher was led to Christ by a foreign missionary to Nigeria, Mrs Betty Lasher, who is now late.
The tweet read: “55 years and still waxing strong! On this day (February 19) in the year 1969, Bishop David Oyedepo was led to Christ by a foreign missionary to Nigeria, Mrs Betty Lasher (of blessed memory). Since then, it has been upward and forward with God.
“We thank God for you that you yielded to the call of salvation, sir, and ultimately received the Liberation Mandate. If your life has been impacted by the life and ministry of Bishop Oyedepo, say with us, ‘Thank you Lord for Bishop Oyedepo.”
