The Outpouring goes to Ilorin, Kwara State

The revival movement spearheaded by the Gospel artiste Dunsin Oyekan, is headed to Kwara State this May! Ilorin the capital will be the venue for this time of encounter. In preparation for May 22nd those that would like to be a part have been asked to register as volunteers. Prayers and confessions have begun in earnest. Logistics and other related organization are also in motion.

Kwara State has played a significant role in the lives of fathers of the faith and this has been highlighted and shared on the social media pages as part of the event promotions.Pastor E.A. Adeboye a.k.a Daddy GO was a part-time pastor at the RCCG while at the University of Ilorin. Reverend George Adegboye a.k.a the Walking Bible was born in Offa, a renowned town in Kwara. He was a former lecturer at the Kwara State Polytechnic and went into full time ministry from the academia. He is also the lead pastor of Rhema Chapel Ministry with headquarters in Ilorin, Kwara State. Rev George is also the president and founder of the Word of Victory Bible Training Institute and the Young Ministers Teaching School. Another famous father of the faith, Bishop David Oyedepo also attended Kwara State Polytechnic where he studied Architecture.

The first edition of the Outpouring was on November 7th 2021 in the city of Lagos. Since its debut it has effectively become a movement with different expressions springing out from it. One of such is the ‘Go Ye’ outreach, in the past few months several have been held all over the state. Reaching out and preaching the love of Jesus is the aim and continues to be the reason for hosting the Outpouring and its expressions. The event in Ilorin is once again set to be a time of worship, prayer and revival!
