Ace broadcaster, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze has applauded the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor E. A. Adeboye, for reportedly pledging the sum of N18.4b to charity. A certain percentage of that amount would be given to feeding the hungry. Hence, Daddy Freeze felt it was a good gesture considering the fact that many persons are presently struggling to feed themselves due to the harsh economy.
In his broadcast, he said he is thankful to God because the elders are now listening to the younger generation. He added that whenever complaints are made and there is a positive response, it is only normal that people applaud their efforts.
While commenting on the said N18.4b donation, Daddy Freeze observed that the amount is enough to purchase a private jet. However, if shared, it would mean that people have also felt the impact of the jet.
Daddy Freeze made mention of the fact that recently, Pastor Adeboye has been doing quite good things for charity and he appreciates him for that. More so, he stated that he may have some disagreements with some of the teachings in the Redeemed Christian Church of God but it would stop him from appreciating the revered cleric when he does good.
"I may not agree with the RCCG spiritually, doctrinally, and structurally completely, but what he just did was a good move and we appreciate him," Daddy Freeze said.
