Pharrell Williams quest to build a gospel choir, Voices of Fire, drops 20 November on Netflix


Voices of Fire, 2020 gospel musical documentary television series that features Pharrell Williams, his uncle Bishop Ezekiel Williams, choir director Patrick Riddick and their team of gospel leaders, drops today 20 November on Netflix.

Voices of Fire looks at the team of gospel leaders as they travel to Pharrell's hometown of Hampton Roads, Virginia, in search of talented singers to build a world class gospel choir. Ezekiel Williams is the general overseer, pastor and founder of Faith World Ministries.

The 6-episode series is produced by A. Smith & Co. and I Am Other, a multi-media creative collective created by Pharrell Williams that serves as an umbrella for all of his endeavors

A press release adds, "With the belief that diverse backstories can give their collective voice a greater meaning, the Bishop and his team will be searching for people of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds."
