Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi has stated in his latest teaching that it is people of ordinary minds that react to challenges. Great people respond to them. He made this affirmation on November 15, 2020 in his series -Vision Part3. He took his bible text from Habakkuk 2:2-3.
The renowned preacher asked, how are you responding to your challenges? Ordinary people react, great people respond. Satan leverages our circumstances to distract us when God wants us to focus on our life's purpose. God did not call us to react to our circumstances. Leverage your imagination. God wants you to yield your imagination to Him.
Furthermore, Pastor Adeyemi stated that our imaginations have a great power we can ever think of. In Gods revelation is His creative power. There are many people who are down because of one reason or the other. You may feel that your life is in a chaotic state. Hence, it will be difficult for you to recover your life back. However, Gods promises for our lives are more than enough to shoot us to that place that we belong.
Pastor Adeyemi also assured his flock that God has a vision that will illuminate every situation in their life. He also prayed that no one will have a miscarriage of vision.
There are many persons who work only by sight. They do not have faith in seeing the greatness of their future ahead. Nonetheless, Pastor Adeyemi admonished his flock to drag the future into the present with action.
When God tells you something, it is created. In that instant it becomes a spiritual reality. What you have over time is the spiritual reality moving into the physical. The fact that you cannot see it is no proof that it doesn't exist. You need to adjust your physical reality to align with the vision in your heart. Likewise, he gave some points to buttress his teaching.
1. Let your vision define your identity. Let it shape how you see yourself. Call yourself what God has called you. Your identity is original. God is not in the business of making duplicates. Find your uniqueness.
2. Let your vision dictate your attitude and mood per time. Smile and feel good while meditating. Don't let current circumstances weigh you down, let your vision birth faith in you.
3. Let your vision shape your values and bring discipline into your life and control how you do your things now.
4. Let your vision move you to learn. Attend a seminar; go back to school; serve as an apprentice.
5. Let your vision move you to act: put in the application, start the business, resign from the job. The best time to create the future is now. Ground the vision. If you don't do it, you don't really believe it.
6. Let the vision give you staying power. Hold on. You're going to go through rough times, though it tarries, wait for it.
