Godly Ways to Accessing the Abundance of True Riches

There are many ways to accessing financial fortune but some of these ways could lead to destruction.

This is why I have decided to share with you the Godly ways to accessing true riches.

Before we continue, I will like to state that this wonderful piece you'll be reading today will be backed from the pages of the scripture. So it will be no secret to many.

First of all, we need to understand who owns all the (true) wealth and posses the power to give it.

See the following scriptures:
  • Deuteronomy 8:18 - But thou shall remember the Lord your God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
  • Haggai 2:8 - The silver is mine and the gold is mine, said the Lord of hosts.
From the above scriptures, it is obvious true riches come from God. He is the one with the ultimate power to give genuine wealth.

But this does not mean wealth cannot be gotten from other means.

According to Christian Truth Centre, not every worldly wealthy person is blessed by God.
It is of a truth the world and everything in it was created by God but Satan is the prince of this world - John 12:31 and can give wealth as seen when he was tempting Jesus, offering him everything in the world in exchange for bowing down and worshiping him - Matthew 4:8-9

So yes, wealth can be gotten from other means not Godly.

Why God Blesses

So why do you think God bless his children?
  1. To establish His covenant: But thou shall remember the Lord your God: for it is he that gives you the power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore unto your fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18. Also God speaking to Isaac in Genesis 26:3 said, Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham your father.
  2. To rescue His people from shame and reproach: Proverbs 19:4 - Wealth makes many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbor. Verse 7 - All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? Also, Ecclesiastes 9:16 - Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.
  3. To promote His Kingdom: Zach 1:17 - Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
  4. To be a blessing to mankind: God wants you to use your riches to be a blessing and support to your neighbor and relations. Like Abraham did when he had about his brother's kidnap in Genesis 14:14, he armed his trained servants and pursued the captors, subdued them and saved his brother Lot.
  5. To enjoy abundant life: He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. John 10:10

How then can one attract Godly riches?

God blesses in many ways but remember, he does not bless lazy people.

He also will not want to give you the wealth that will make you forsake him nor wealth that is bigger than you and can make you lose control.

Demonstration - In a literal sense, do you think a sensible rich man will give a car worth millions to a five year old to drive? I think NO because he does not trust the child to drive or manage the car.

Same way God does not give riches to those that cannot manage it.

So God blesses us only when we are due and also releases this blessing in phases.

God blesses his children:

  1. Through reign of divine ideas: God created you for a purpose. Like I stated in my article on how to discover your purpose, God like a manufacturer creates for a reason and the finished product will serve a purpose. Also stated in that article is how one can discover their purpose through knowing one's makeup, choices and so on. You are never a mistake no matter the circumstances behind your birth.
  2. The works of their hands: Deuteronomy 28:12. An idle man will suffer hunger. While waiting for a job, if that's your dream, first start with whatever you can do. Offer any service and get paid in return.
  3. Through divine direction: God can direct you to the place that help will locate you but before that help will come, you must adhere to instruction which sometimes are not so pleasant and convenient. Here is a short story of a lady that graduated from school in one of the African countries with no job available. She sought for God's intervention but was clearly told to go start a recharge card business around a construction site. She did with her little savings and after a while, the building construction which was a bank was completed and she heard clearly from God to go and apply. Surprisingly, those that interviewed were her customers who never knew she was a graduate let alone intelligent. The interview was a walk over and she was offered a high paying job. That is what divine direction can do.

Wrapping up, I want to emphasize that wealth gotten from God comes with peace of mind but wealth ill-gotten will always bring destruction in the end as emphasized in Proverb 13:11 - Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gather by labour shall increase. You should also understand that there are principles to everything in life including prosperity and anyone who follows these principles irrespective of their believe will always find wealth.

To your success.
