Let Us Pray!

Christians have been charged to pray for the nation as the general election approaches.

Addressing the 305 Christian pilgrims who recently returned from the holy land, the Chairman, Ogun State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Bishop Oludotun Ogunseye, admonished them to pray for the socio-economic and political growth of Ogun State in particular and the nation in general as they reflect on the lessons learnt during the pilgrimage in their day-to-day activities.

The chairman, Ogun State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Bishop Oludotun Ogunseye, who was speaking at the thanksgiving service held for the pilgrims at the Government House Chapel, Oke-Igbein, Abeokuta, noted that the importance of the journey, during which they visited many places of historical significance, was to expose them to the life and times of Jesus Christ, and this, he noted should not be in vain.

Reading a text from the Holy Bible, the President, Ogun Baptist Conference, Rev. Segun Jaiyesimi, called on Christians to love their neighbours and be their brother’s keeper.
