President Bola Tinubu has felicitated with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, as he marks his 82nd birthday on Saturday, March 2.

He spoke via a statement issued by his special adviser on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, on Friday, March 1.

The politician acknowledged Adeboye’s remarkable life of impact that transcends cultures and borders. He also appreciated the renowned cleric for his continuous prayers for the country.

The statement read, “President Bola Tinubu celebrates the grace of stewardship and leadership upon the life of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, as he marks his birthday on March 2, 2024.

“The President congratulates Pastor Adeboye on hitting another milestone and joins the Body of Christ in thanksgiving for the General Overseer’s remarkable life of impact that transcends cultures and borders.

“President Tinubu thanks the Lord’s own servant for his regular prayers for the country and his wise counsel, noting his patriotic zeal and manifest determination to see Nigeria succeed.”

Tinubu also prayed for the well-being of the cleric and his wife as they continue in their service to God.

The statement continued, “The President prays for the continual well-being of the General Overseer and his wife, in addition to many more years in the service of God Almighty.”

Adeboye has always been hopeful about a new Nigeria. He often refers to when things were better and has faith that the good old days will return.

In one of his messages at the church recently, Adeboye said, “The days when the naira will be stronger will come back; those glorious days will return. When that happens, you will know. ‘Miracle is unusual. God can give you a miracle that will be difficult to share.”
