Jimmy Odukoya announces the Lion’s tribe newsletter

The senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Jimmy Odukoya, has announced that he is commencing a monthly newsletter titled ‘the Lion’s tribe newsletter.’

In a post on his social media pages on Friday, February 23, the preacher, who is the first son of the late founders of the church Pastors Taiwo and Bimbo Odukoya said: “Hey Tribe, are you ready for the monthly newsletter?

“Every month, I get to connect with you, share my thoughts, and send you some encouragement and whatever God lays on my heart to share. I also let you know what book I’m reading for this month. So, if you want to get the newsletter every month starting with this month, click the link in my bio now to sign up. Let’s go!”

In an earlier report by Christianity Nigeria, Jimmy had affirmed that he was thankful for the grace of God upon his life. The preacher emerged as the leader of the church after his father passed away in August 2023.

He and his elder sister Pastor Tolu Odukoya were ordained as senior pastor and associate senior pastor of the church in September 2023.

Posting on his social media pages, Odukoya said, “You don’t know what grace is until you need it yourself. Lord, I am thankful for your grace. If you know you are thankful for the grace that God has shown that you don’t deserve, just type grace.”

Jimmy is also an actor and he is notable for his role as Oba Ade in the Hollywood movie, ‘The Woman King’. He is also a lover of football and he showed immense support for the Super Eagles of Nigeria during the recently concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON) where the team won the silver medal.
