The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has opened up on the assassination attempt on his life today. In a video on his social media page, the preacher revealed that his life was under attack because of an issue that dated since 2017. The almost two minutes video also showed the preacher condoling with those who were killed in the unfortunate incident.
Suleman said, “Since 2017, there are certain things that have happened that I have been quiet about. If you are the most careless person on earth, you will not give yourself to so many scandals. There are some things that some people do not know and two people came online, took advantage of it, and said one or two things.
“The reason I am coming out to speak up is that they did all that and I moved on. Then, they have decided to make an attempt on my life. They made an assassination attempt on my life where seven people were killed.
“They opened fire on my car and they kept spraying the bullets. My wife and kids were in the car and the car that escorted mine. The policemen were killed as we were all moving in a convoy.
“The people who did this were expecting me to mention their names so that they will come out and deny, but I won’t come out and do that. You cannot kill me; my life is in the hands of God; I am a man of God. Those who are attacking me are building on what they do not understand.
“You want to chase clout but you don’t know where the fight started from. You don’t have an idea of the beginning of what happened in 2017 and the people who are behind it. You might be doing your own thing but it is beyond what you are thinking.
“I am alive, for those who have been calling. I am well, my family is fine. I feel bad for the lives that have been taken. I have been mourning but Jesus is Lord. For all those who were killed, may their souls rest in peace. The young men opened fire and kept wasting people. The seed that you sowed, you will reap it. I want Nigerians to know that a coordinated lie swallows an uncoordinated truth. With time, the truth will come out.”
