Hallelujah Challenge - Double Portion Edition

Nathaniel Bassey has shared some great news about the Hallelujah Challenge on his IG page. Get ready for a DOUBLE DOSE this October and November!

IT IS HERE!
22 days split in two. DOUBLE PORTION!

“Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor. You will possess a double portion of prosperity in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.”
Isaiah 61:7 NLT

Spread the word and tag your fellow Hallelujans! Trusting God for our Nation, even as we enter a very critical election year, that we shall receive a double portion of honour for all the pain and shame. And for everyone who would Praise God these 22 days in 2 months.

OCTOBER 17th to OCTOBER 26th - First installment!
Watch out for second installment date.

Now more than ever is the time to turn up the praise, especially because of all the bad news, the globally depressed economic trend and other contrary things that we see all around. Let’s do what King Jehoshaphat did when the three kings came out against him and Israel…worship! Yes, when there was a national disaster lurking and staring them down, Jehoshaphat summoned courage and consulted God.

God’s response was very reassuring, Then the Spirit of the Lord came on Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the assembly. He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.” (2Chronicles 20:14-17)

The most interesting part of this entire saga is that it was after consulting with his people (verse 21) that they reached a decision to praise God! On their own, it wasn’t God that told them! They came to the realization that since they were not going to fight this battle their time was best spent praising and cheering on the One going to do the work. It’s time to bring in the big guns and let God sort you out.
