Enenche, Obi, others, pray for a better Nigeria

Dr Enenche and other dignitaries

Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche has said that Nigeria will not go down. He made this declaration in the early hours of Saturday morning at the church’s 2022 Mid-Year Praise tagged Judgmental Praise at the Glory Dome, Abuja.

Enenche had invited some dignitaries including a former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi; Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Emmanuel Udom; first lady of Delta state, Edith Okowa; and Archbishop John Praise, which he called to altar to join him to pray.

During the prayer session, Enenche said, “Nigeria cannot go down, the agenda of hell cannot succeed over Nigeria.”

On his part, Obi said, “We have no other country except this one. This is the only country we have. God please see us, deliver us and liberate us.”

Mrs Okowa said, “It is well with Nigeria. Nigeria will never go down. A new dawn has been born in the mighty name of Jesus.”

Also, Udom said, “Lord, we join our faith together. I declare henceforth that Nigeria is liberated, rescued, and restored to the glory of you God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

The highlight of the program was when the dignitaries were introduced. When it got to the turn of Obi, there was a standing ovation and a loud clap for him which lasted for about two minutes before Dr. Becky Enenche calmed the members of the congregation.

Other personalities who graced the occasion include top gospel artistes such as Nathaniel Bassey, Frank Edwards, Joe Praize, Eben, Buchi, Mercy Chinwo, Chioma Jesus, and Dunsin Oyekan.
