Christian Company Uses Artificial Intelligence to Create First-Ever Virtual Gospel Artist

Marquis Boone Enterprises (MBE), a Christian entertainment and media company in Atlanta, Georgia, has released a new song that is performed by a virtual gospel artist created from artificial intelligence.

According to CBN News, the name of the virtual artist is JC, and it was created to be a "forefront runner in the Metaverse on Meta." MBE’s vision is to "captivate, cultivate, commission and coach widespread audiences with solid expressions of God's love through entertainment."

The song, ‘’Biblical Love’’ which was performed by JC is the first single by the company. In the press statement by the company, it explained that the song is about "unquantifiable love beyond description or measure – a love of biblical proportions that transcends to everyone and everything."

However, British songwriter and singer, Calum Scott, originally performed the song. The singer was a contestant in Britain's Got Talent in 2015. He released the song "Biblical" this year June.

In his statement, founder of MBE, Marquis Boone said that "JC has been in the works for a little over a year, and our plan is to continue to develop and invest resources in this new space."

"We are excited to be one of the pioneers and trailblazers in this AI space in the gospel industry, and we have more plans to release and develop even more AI artists like this," he added.
