Television presenter and contestant of Strictly Come Dancing, Rhys Stephenson, says his Christian faith is an integral part of his life. Last Saturday on the show, the CBBC presenter said that his faith is "one constant" in his life. Meanwhile, he said the church is his second home.
"My family and I are Christians and that has been an integral part of who we are. When everything has changed, my faith has always remained the same," Stephenson continued.
For the show's 'movie night's week, Stephenson and his dance partner Nancy Xu performed a Spiderman-themed dance. He said his movies centers around good overcoming evil.
Stephenson's pastor, Rev David Anderton, said the church was proud of him and what he is doing.
Stephenson made a post on his Instagram page, appreciating everyone who supported him with messages and special mentions. Likewise, he thanked those who were impacted as he talked about his faith.
Rhys received a perfect ten from judge Motsi Mabuse and a total score of 37/40 for his dance. However, he was placed second on the leaderboard behind John Whaite.
