for KING & COUNTRY Wins Double at K-LOVE Fan Awards

                   
Christian music group, for KING & COUNTRY, recently won double awards at the K-Love Fan Awards. They won the Group of the Year and Artist of the Year category. 

Meanwhile, Zach Williams won the Male Artist of the Year and the Song of the Year for his collaboration with Dolly Parton on the son, ‘’There Was Jesus.’’ The award ceremony was held at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House with many fans in attendance.

Prolific gospel singer, Michael W. Smith, also went home with the Worship Song of the Year award for his ‘’Waymaker.’’ This would be his first nomination and win at K-LOVE Fan Award. CAIN also won the Breakout Single of the Year for ‘’Rise Up.’’ 

This would be the eight year the award would be holding and it had sponsorship from Coca-Cola Consolidated. Also, TBN broadcasted the event. The award event is the largest so far at Gaylord Opryland Resort since COVID restrictions were relaxed.
‘’The Chosen’’ bagged the category of Film Impact Winner which aligns with the mission of the award which is to identify people who are driven by their mission. Also, it recognizes people who create projects beyond the music community. This was one of the basis ‘’The Chosen’’ was recognized.
 
Furthermore, Head Coach of Baylor’s National Championship Men’s Basketball team, Scott Drew, was honored with the Sports Impact Award. The Book Impact Award went to John Cooper, Skillet’s lead vocalist for his debut book, Awake and Alive to Truth.

For the 6th time, Matthew West was the host for the event. There were great performances from stars like Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Elevation Worship, Cory Asbury, CAIN, Tauren Wells, Michael W. Smith, Carly Pearce, Zach Williams, We The Kingdom, Casting Crowns, among others.

This will be the first fan filled event in Nashville since March 2020. Below is a list of the winners at the 2021 K-LOVE Fan Awards:
