Adefarasin advises Nigerians to have an escape plan

The Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin has advised his church members to have an escape plan from Nigeria. He made this call on Sunday, May 9, during his sermon.

The revered cleric spoke vehemently on the state of the nation. He urged his members to have a Plan B noting that people may have to run for their dear lives if an end is not in sight. He also pleaded with the nation's leaders not to be partisan at this time.

''No country in the world history has survived two civil wars. You could be in fright and running for your dear life any day from now if this thing does not come to an end. My personal encouragement t to leaders and government on all sides is that it is not time to be partisan, blend the aisles. It is time to sit down and dialogue,'' he said.

Furthermore, he informed his church members that wife is presently out of the country preparing their own Plan B.

''I bring you greetings from Pastor Ifeanyi who is busy taking care of the frontier of our world and preparing our escape root. If you don't have a plan B. ...I know you have faith, but I have faith too but I have a plan B.

‘’With technology I can speak to you from anywhere in the world. Get yourself a plan B. Whether that's an Okada to Cameroon or flying boat or speed boat as we call them to Seme Border or a hole in the ground, get your plan B because these people are crazy. The whole bunch of them. And watch the signs because it can happen like this. God forbid!'' he said.

Nigerians react to the words of the preacher
Pastor Adefarasin’s statement has attracted various comments among Nigerians. While he had some people supporting him, others have criticized him too.

@thisisOluwakemi tweeted, ‘’Pastor Paul Adefarasin said, get a Plan B. I like that he wasn’t just telling his members to pray for Nigeria. Pray from Nigeria from abroad.’’

@RealOlaudah commented, ‘’Impressed with Pastor Paul Adefarasin’s advise to his church yesterday to have a plan for escaping Nigeria in event of an explosion. Said his wife has gone ahead of him to perfect their Plan B’ abroad’. Said leadership of Nigeria could no longer be trusted. I admire his honesty.’’

@Preshy21907036 said, ‘’This is a very wrong advise. If I should run away from Nigeria, can my mum run? What about my friends, can they? Don’t forget anything that affect them affect me…’’

@naijadawg replied, ‘’I think the advise is simple; prepare an escape plan whether it is to Seme or to IDP camp. Just prepare a plan for you and your family. If things get any worse, no one will be there to save you.’’
