God gives us visions to enable us run life's race diligently. Some persons stay focused and find their path early in life. For another group of persons, they miss their mark and fall along the way. Bishop David Oyedepo, president of Living Faith Church, worldwide, is a man of vision who has remained steadfast and focused on his race on earth.
Recently, Faith Tabernacle celebrated its 21 years anniversary. For the founder of the church, it was a celebration of sheer obedience. One of its northern branches situated in Nassarawa state, Living Faith Church, Goshen, is also celebrating ten years of its establishment.
The church has a sitting capacity of 15,000 persons. The 700 ache church was known as the largest church auditorium in Northern Nigeria as the time of its establishment on October 2nd, 2010. It is situated at Auta-Balefi, Nassarawa State.
Goshen was built like Canaanland, the headquarters of Living Faith Church, Worldwide. Also, it is the largest Christian estate in Northern Nigeria. Besides the main church building, there are other buildings that make up the estate. The other facilities include:
- 45 houses in a housing estate
- Youth Chapel
- Childrens Church
- Nursery and Primary School
- Secondary School
- Mission Lodge
- Bishops Court
- Pastors Quarters
- A proposed university and others
It is paramount to note that these buildings were raised in a space of 15 months. Goshen is situated along Abuka-Keffi Expressway. More so, the church estate has other church properties around it such as CHOSEN Camp, Deeper Life Camp, and Redemption Camp.
The expansive building was dedicated by Bishop David Oyedepo and it is being headed by Bishop David Abioye, the first vice president of the Living Faith Church, Worldwide. In addition, Goshen holds the record of being the largest church building or facility in the world which is not the international headquarters of its establishment.
Many dignitaries have visited the church so far. Some of the notable names include former president Dr Goodluck Jonathan and former Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt Honorable Yakubu Dogara. Dogara is known to be a regular worshipper among others. The church growth has been commendable in past ten years and it is not relenting in its achievements.
