A new edition of Abbyke Domina's The Celebrity Shoot is out, and in this edition, Abbyke diversifies a little by selecting her cover girl from the Christian music industry with previous editions cover stars been Toke Makinwa, Annie Idibia, Beverly Osu, Pearl Cardy and others.
This season's shoot features Tope Alabi, the muliti-platinum Nigerian gospel singer. She was formerly a member of the jesters international comedy group, and later worked with other popular travelling and stage theatre groups in Ibadan and Lagos. She later metamorphosed into gospel music.
It has been more than a decade that Tope Alabi's music career started and she has gained prominence in the contemporary gospel music industry in Nigeria.
What makes her unique is her voice as well as her ability to create several melodies with different traditional and modern beats. She is one of the most sought after gospel musician in Nigeria today.
