A bomb has exploded at Christ’s Chosen Church in the Rukuba area of Jos, Plateau state. According to witnesses, the explosion was an act of a suicide bomber, who blew himself up outside the church.
The Plateau State Commissioner of Police, Emmanuel Ayeni, has confirmed the explosion but says the casualty figure is yet to be ascertained.
Also, a group of angry youths have mobilised at the scene of the bomb attack. It was gathered that some journalists were beaten up by the mob as they attempted to cover the incident.
