Gospel Musicians set to perform at The 2021 Inaugural Gospel Celebration

On January 20, 2021, a team of gospel singers will perform at the inauguration of United States President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. This event has been put together by the National Baptist Convention, in conjunction with OCTET Productions and Terk Entertainment Group. Collectively, they will produce 'The 2021 Inaugural Gospel Celebration: An Evening of Inspiration and Unity'.

The event has been planned to be a virtual one due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The performances from the gospel musicians are expected to last for two hours. Unity and hope to the world is what the celebration is set to preach. A good number of the nation's leading gospel musicians and other distinguished celebrities are expected to participate in this remarkable event. Viewers have been assured of a feeling of healing which is quite needed at a time the world is going through some health crisis. 

The artists billed to perform at the gospel concert which will be hosted at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC. include Jonathan McReynolds, Fred Hammond, Leandria Johnson, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Spencer Taylor, JJ Hairston, Mavin Sapp, Tye Tribbett, Titus Showers, Dietrick Haddon, Koryn Hawthorne, Todd Dulaney, Bryan Popin, Highway QCs, and Jokia.

The 2021 Inaugural Celebration will be streamed live for its domestic and international audience together with pay-per-view and broadcast distribution.

In addition, there are plans to raise funds during this event with The National Baptist Convention, being the beneficiary. The National Baptist Convention is an idea that is projected at reducing the discrepancy in the African American community healthcare which has become heightened due to the global pandemic.
